I get quite a few spam calls from within my area code and prefix. This app does not seem to be able to do anything about them. However, numbers that are notoriously linked to spam calls are blocked.

I am an AT&T customer, it says my line is not eligible for the service.

I really like this app. It does a tremendous job of blocking SPAM calls and doesn’t let the through. My one desire is that when it rings and says “Potential Spam’, I would prefer them to be blocked. This app DOES save me a lot of time from answering my phone when I don’t need to. I DO Recommend it.

Downloaded this app a few weeks ago, was skeptical that it was not going to work. The app does work. Actually blocks numbers from telemarketers and potential fraud.

This app recognized and blocked HUNDREDS of calls from the same telemarketer in my state over the period of a week. Who has the time or money to waste on these credit card offers, debt consolidations schemes or reverse mortgages? Now the main calls that come through are my family, co-workers and friends that I do want to connect with each day. What really frustrates me are the calls that look like they could possibly be a friend because they live near me or have a similar prefix as my own phone. I think I should answer it and then realize it is actually a telemarketer. Now This app helps to sort most of that out and keeps the telemarketers from making it through. Another helpful practice I have adopted is to NOT answer a number I don’t recognize. If it’s important then the caller may leave me a voice message and I’ll call Them back. Usually it’s just a sales call and I manually block the call myself. I also periodically check the app’s call log and make sure no one has been blocked that I need to speak to and call them back. All in all, a very useful app that I’m so glad I found!

After almost 15 years of the same number, my phone number was finally discovered by scammers. You know the ones: call your number from the same area code/prefix as your own number, hoping you will pick up. Of course it’s easy for me because no one calls me from that combo. Every once in a while I will get half a dozen notifications from this app that potential scams/frauds were blocked. A quick peek shows the same number calling over and over, or multiples all trying, within a minute or two span. I had no idea, and didn’t have to worry about it. All together, I’m very happy with this app. It does what I wanted it to. No false positives yet, which is good, but if it did I would just call right back!
