Best looking trash can out there. Absolutely worthless. The GUI looks amazing. But it’s completely useless. Non responsive.

The app has worked well until the last few months. Now firmware will not update.

When tapping the icons at the bottom nothing happens. I’m still unable to do anything in the app. It also want to use my location. I don’t see why it would need to.

Now appears to only connect (initially) to ASUS routers with a default name and no/default passphrase. Had my router configured in the app once but would not let me update the admin password so I tried to unlink and reconnect - now I have to make my WiFi open/insecure to reconnect and who knows what kind of changes it would make. Obviously not tested with an existing router - only works now with one not setup now. Never worked that well in the past, anyway. Very unreliable and disappointing.

Cannot switch anymore from http to https only connection to already set up router. Useless now.

Used to use this app to admin my two Asus routers. After the update to the GUI ( which wasn’t needed) it is harder to find commonly used processes like rebooting or checking internet connectivity. More taps to get to. Now with latest update it can’t connect to my main router. It can connect to my router set as AP but my main one it can’t find. Guess I’ll have to admin my routers from a desktop again.

It should not take this long to fix your app. It was working great until about a month or so ago. Now it can’t update the firmware from the app and the connection sometimes isn’t as steady as it was. I called ASUS and they know about it and had me manually update the firmware. They said that it is a known issue. This should be a high priority fix. I bought this router with these features in mind.
