Still needs work

It won’t even let me log in.

Pleased with this app! - RaneRaps

I’ve been using the website from my home screen for months now and while it gets the job done, it was not efficient when you quickly wanted to access (and compare) metrics. Thanks Apple for giving us the tool we so desperately needed as an app. Looking forward to growing more on the platform ??????

Won’t let me log in

Every time I open the app, it tells me to log in, but it won’t let me. I try to tap on it to type in my login credentials, but I can’t even type anything.

What happened to my streams?

Brandi Williams

This app is cool but I had 60,000 streams. Now I have 42,000. Please fix this. I’m extremely upset.

Real time stats and one day stats please!!

seanpfett

I love finally having the app and seeing my stats on the phone. Saying this I really wish there was one day stats everyday to see how many views you get everyday. Also a real time preview of your new song like would be nice

Good layout but no data

Eleven11_

Isn’t accurate for me. Has no data for year to date (eight months) or anything but lifetime. Lifetime data isn’t accurate either.

out of beta? not.

I am the artist, admin, etc., was with Shazam and Apple long before this launch. I sign in and am told I have to contact the admin to make changes. Well, I am the admin. We artists work really hard to get our 10 cents while Apple makes much more. No longer a fan of Apple Music.

Needs a lot of work and better communication

I don’t dislike Apple Music as a platform, I think it’s easy to use and it’s a reliable source of streaming. The problem of this app lies in the problems i’ve had with getting support. First off, when i uploaded more music after a few months it created an entirely new artist page, leaving me with one artist page with my EP, and one with 2 singles. I asked them to merge this which took about 2 weeks (mind you it says 5 business days max). Now, you’d think this is where the problem ends but no. Now instead of having access to one page and not the other, i didn’t have access to my artist account at all. i’ve reached out to them and still have yet to get a response. it’s been another 2 weeks. Finally, when i did ever have access to the artist page, it was very stingy about a picture of my full band, square cropped, and fitting into the frame, so i could never even customize my own page. I think it has great potential to be more user friendly but i don’t expect the change any time soon, it was easier when it was just a website.

Help me please developers!!!?

No access/profile claiming prerelease for debut releases

Winnerwinnerchickendinnerx1302

Can't speak to the features on the app because of the "hard requirement" of having to have music already live on iTunes/Apple Music before you can claim your profile and do anything to it. Why is it that way? I'm sure there's a logical reason (hopefully) but it seems counterintuitive/counterproductive to not let an artist prep their page (even if it's just the photo) prerelease if an artist has proof of identity and a delivered pending release. Not too cool to have your release go live on a ghost page. ?‍♂️ Update after dev response: Thank you for the response, however, the problem is for first time releases where there is no previous music from an artist on apple's platforms and the artist or artist manager has set a release date, before which the music is not available on itunes or apple music, although the music is delivered and its legitimacy is confirmable. But since the music is not yet available due to the release date and thanks to this requirement for music to already released in order to claim an artist profile, an artist or artist manager cannot claim and access the artist profile and prepare it before the release date (when the music is actually live and available). This presents a one time problem for all independent artists' first releases and their capacity to present themselves as professionally as possible. How professional is does it look for a release to go live on a profile w no picture, for example? The problem could potentially be solved by, for example, granting artist profile access pre-release upon providing the UPC for the delivered release and identity confirmation of the artist or artist manager.
