Apple Music is my favorite music streaming platform PERIOD, but Apple Music for artist needs some updates I don’t understand why I can’t add a bio, hometown, genre or birthdate to my artist page from my iPhone this app can be better and I hope it gets those updates soon fans wants to know more and they shouldn’t go to another platform to find it, just a suggestion.

I wish I could give negative stars for this app. I am a published artist and have used Spotify for artists and greatly enjoyed it. I wanted to make sure all my platforms were engaging my audience so I started using Apple Music for artists. It is a headache. There are so few features for me to edit and it is not only hard to find those features but it is difficult to use them and the app wigs out. I can’t even get my artist photo uploaded because it supposedly “doesn’t meet the criteria” by Apple even though it does. I am very frustrated and I hope they fix this app so it is actually useful.

It takes forever to update how many streams, listeners, etc you’re getting

Main issue for me is the graphs presenting data in the app are not labeled at all. It’s just a series of bars with no context other than the height of the ones beside it. The listener data is better, though still scarce. Good for an overview, but I still have to use the desktop site to dig into data.
