The COVID-19 app is developed in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the White House, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

• Use the simple screening tool to determine what you should do if you are concerned about COVID-19. Answer a few questions about symptoms, travel, and contact you’ve had with those who might have the disease. And then get a specific, recommended action based on the CDC’s current guidelines, such as practice social distancing or talk to a doctor.

• Save previous screening results for you or for a loved one to refer to at a later date or in conversations with a healthcare provider.

• Learn best practices for washing your hands, practicing social distancing, quarantining, monitoring your symptoms, and disinfecting surfaces.

• Get answers to the most frequently asked questions about COVID-19, including who is at risk of serious illness and how to recognize the symptoms.

• Know that data you provide in the COVID-19 app will not be shared with Apple, the CDC, or anyone without your permission. Data entered will be stored and encrypted on device with a passcode.

improvement needed

your screening only asks about contact in the past 14 days but not about actual history or testing. i was tested for antibodies two weeks ago and the test was positive. only symptoms third week of march was a low fever. and was around people early march found to have covid. so ALL of this info should be integrated into my own profile rather than just the simplistic 14-day questions. having the app also doesn’t seem to enable the new contact tracking feature. that makes no sense at all

Doesn’t work

It’s a survey. I downloaded it took the survey and opened the covid feature in settings>privacy>health. It still says no installed app and won’t turn on the exposure logging feature.

Missing key Questions
Pablo Able

This app should also ask if you work in a business and have contact with customers

If you answer Yes to anything the response is to self-isolate. Useless. Deleted

Bad app design

Very bad app design!

Does not link to health app
MamaShaw22

I downloaded this app thinking it would help my health app keep track of my COVID health updates. It does not sync with health app. You test once; if your good it turns kind of worthless.

Where is it ?

Where in this app can you activate the Covid-19 exposure notification feature? Settings has a big write up for this feature.

No iPad support

I thought Apple would put a little more effort into this. Very unlike them.

Can’t track symptoms - not very useful
Quzy69-543

This app is about as useful as the header with COVID info on the Google search page. I was hoping I could track my symptoms (headache at 3:00 pm, 98 degree temperature at 3:00 pm, etc.) This app is the best Apple can do? Do the community a favor and delete it.

Literally life saving

I have been unable to get a test even though I have been exposed and am having symptoms. This app helped me assess, find a facility to get tested at, and arrange an appointment in less than 20 minutes. I was able to set an appointment for less than 24 hours from downloading the app and I am SO thankful! Definitely a good app and positively fantastic. Easy to use, sensible, and to the point.
