I’ve been using the Amcrest DVR 8 camera system for about 2 years now. The wired system is quite a bit of work on a 5 acre property but when you see your cameras come up instantly on this app in 1080p its a beautiful thing.

Four cameras and three are useless to me! When I purchased the first two for my dad's house I was one happy camper because I could monitor my elderly father who has dementia. I liked them so much that f few months later I purchased two for my own house. But something happened!!! Now only one camera works -- at my house! Ugh!!! I can't seem to add any of them to the mobile app. I've posted on the text support site. I've called. I've emailed. No help!!! Complete waste of money!!

Unable to configure camera settings through app. For example, if you want to turn off your email notification for noise of motion trigger, app doesn't have the function. Because my triggers are set on a schedule, if something sets it off for the entire scheduled duration, you'll be receiving hundreds if not thousands of emails with screenshots.
