I bought a new router and the camera will not configure for it. Tried every method suggested. Camera is now useless.

I had trouble initially getting it to work on WiFi but support was helpful and got it resolved in 5 mins of phone support. The USA servers seem to be the key factor in getting the streaming video to be reliable vs the Chinese servers long buffering time.

Great camera, my first Amcrest Poe ip camera and it won’t be the last. I had problems connecting but Owen L At tech was patient and very professional. He walked me through the process smoothly. Thanks again Owen.

The iPad version isn’t bad. The recent app on both android and iPhone are terrible. Especially for the phones with special screens such as the iPhone X or S8 plus. App doesn’t fit the screen and picture of camera is warped when you are using it. Also couple months ago there was a update on the app and now playback doesn’t work unless I’m on the same network as the NVR. I know they are using some kind of universal/rebranded CCTV software for there Amcrest cameras, NVR, and Apps but who’s ever making these software isn’t to good at updating or making.

This has good reviews on Amazon but in reality it doesnt work as easy as it should be. Hooking it up with the wifi is even difficult and when connected it isnt stable! I would check it remotely and app wont connect to the camera at home...so bad! I wasted my money on 2 the 1080 armcrest wifi cameras! Never again to trust this company.
