3 minutes of commercials for every 5 minutes of programming

It took me more than 3 hours to watch one episode of The Bachelorette because I had to endure 2:30 to 3:15 minutes of commercial for what seemed like every 5 minutes of programming. I was out of town in a hotel watching the latest episode. I will wait until I am home and will watch on my DVR before I will ever watch a past episode of anything on this app.

Sign in, app freeze, force quit. Sign in, app freeze, force quit. Sign in, oh just kidding you didn’t actually need to sign in. Muted show. Have to unmute. “Are you still watching?“. I just started watching five minutes ago. Abrupt show interruptions for commercials that make no sense whatsoever. Repeat all of the above every time the app is used. Every device. Every version. Why no picture in picture? I use this app more than any other app and these issues are beyond frustrating. Please fix them already.

App not working on iPhone after app update

I used to watch live tv and watch shows unlocked on my iPhone. This used to be my favorite app. I am connected to my Direct TV subscription. I have tried so many things and have contacted ABC support. The app works on my iPad but not my iPhone 12 running iOS 15.2. With all the advice from ABC and Direct TV, I’m about to give up. I CANNOT watch newer shows or live TV on my phone with this app. Very frustrating issue.

Some “glitches” need to be worked out. When clicking on some shows to watch it gives no option to watch…? (no the shows are not locked).

Makes me sign in every day on Apple TV.

Does not accept a tv provider outside of xfinity

I want to login with my Spectrum account but the only thing available on this app is xfinity. I don’t want to be forced to create an abc account and deleted the app since it’s useless.

This app does not work for those wishing to only stream. You must have a provider such as dish tv. Really stupid because if I had dish it would do all that for me without the app!

I love this app. It help me keep up with all my programs, I missed throughout the day. I work a lot and don”t have time to watch TV during the day like I would like too. Having the ABC app on my phone and iPad gives me access to a lot that goes on during the day. They cover news, world new, reality shows, soap and much more. I just love it.

You are not a news channel. You are for entertainment. When you interrupt a show for breaking news we don’t need to hear 30 minutes of commentary about what we just heard. You are not CNN or Fox News. If we aren’t being invaded quit interrupting normal broadcasting.
