The game is very fun but I am stuck trying to figure out how to put fuel in the rocket ship.
Latest update broke the app. Game won't get past studio's splash screen. I'm on an iPhone SE with latest firmware. Even then, update log has no mention of fixing planet seeds. A new game can be immediately unwinnable from the start. I have spawned multiple planets with no fertilizer (required to progress) and no reachable healthy planets. Balance your broken game please.
Updated to 1.01 and now game crashes upon opening. Uninstalling and reinstalling seems to fix it.
1.01 Update: Good changes for players who bought the packs. But game crashes on startup. Dev says current fix is to delete and install again. They are actively looking into the issue. My previous review still holds so I'm leaving it as is. ----------------- I'm new to these sort of games (4x). So I was expecting a full tutorial or at least a guide in game to explain things. Unfortunately there really isn't much. There is a basic tutorial which I learned nothing of. Buildings require certain materials but guess what? When you open the game's encyclopedia you'll see a bunch of blacked out items with "???" next to them. I need to build something, I don't know what the material is, and I can't know what it is until I find it. So how can I find something I don't even know how to get? Also the explanation for some buildings are not fully explained. For example the Foundry building: "Transform resources in other ones by heat. Wood to coal, sand to glass, etc." Instead of fully explaining the dev just puts "etc" assuming everyone who plays will know all the resources the foundry building can make. This can be found in other buildings too. I could go on and on. But I really want the dev to know that I'm inches from hitting the buy button. This game is fun. It felt fun flying to my first planet (after spending almost an hour trying to figure out where to find fuel). If the information was much clearer and available to see I would go for it. Just a warning. This game is fun and it could be addicting. However you'll spend almost just as long trying to figure out where to find resources, what are each resources' icon, what buildings do, and other game mechanics.
Got the game and I was playing it frequently for a few days. Was going to purchase the full version, but updated first. Game is now completely unplayable, it will not get past the title and developer card screens...
And the new update crashes the game so it doesn't even start.
App loads up and won't get past the splash screens. Tried resetting phone, nothing helps.
Great game! The crashing bug is nothing. All you need to do is delete and re download. The purchases you've made should stay if you are logged into Game Center. Anyway one thing I want to request is a custom universe mode. It's where you can customize your own world which means choose amount of planets and AI.
