Local Multiplayer please?

This game is awesome. It would be even better if you could implement local multiplayer. Turn based, and you just pass the phone around so that each person can play a turn. You all start in the same system and develop your own planets, go to war or trade.

Amazing game, amazing developers.

This game is just amazing. Everything about it, the artwork, the concept of it. It's just awesome. Relaxing and fun, sometimes complicated. You guys have to be the most underrated developers ever. This is just, awesome!

Great little game, with a few major flaws

Raudskeggr

It's a fun game; there's nothing quite like it out there on iOS. It has a couple issues: 1) bugs. Nothing game breaking, plenty annoying. 2) balance:. Some resources are just unforgivingly scarce. Competitors have weapons from day one, and some of them also seem to have unlimited rocket fuel. Basically, lazy airport The progression also seems strange; you can reach high ascention levels while still basically having an agrarian economy. 3) It could use a tutorial. Devs, this game does require it.

Interesting and engaging... but lots of problems

RobHab

I gave this game two stars because it has way too much promise for just one star. Many of my critiques echo what the other reviewers are saying. Too buggy - the game speed slows to a stop as the planets are developed. Then, the screen freezes for several minutes when switching planet views. Very frustrating and not fun. Some planets disappear from the system map and cannot engage in combat. They are still there.. just invisible and inaccessible. Some planets refuse to be fully revealed, and half of the slots are permanently blacked out. Again frustrating. User Interface - some of the design is quite innovative. But overall the UI mechanics seem awkward, slow and hard to execute. Very hard to play on a smaller screen. You need a larger iPad to play this. Balance - critical resources are set randomly without any balance. In some cases, a lack of these makes it impossible to complete a game. Your critical second and third planets may be set too far to reach in time. None of your planets may have a critical resource. Becomes a frustrating waste of time. Limited strategy - only one winning strategy is apparent. Rush oil production to fuel your rocket and quickly land on every planet with rich resources before your opponents. The game is basically decided the first 15 minutes... and it is completely dependent on the starting set up which is random and unbalanced. I never played a close game... either it was hopeless or I couldn't lose. Erratic discoveries - some early discoveries are essential, and these critical technologies are also randomized. The discovery cost grows exponentially and not all discoveries are made available, so a winning position can still fail and that's random too. Frustrating and not fun. It's a beautiful and interesting game. I can understand the five star reviews. However, I wonder how long those top reviewers actually played this game after the problems became apparent? For me... too buggy, too imbalanced, too random. Too many restarts after playing for several hours. Fix some of these problems and you get five stars from me.

I don’t get it.

The tutorial doesn’t help at all.

Buggy

Kttttttttttttttttttttttkt

Lots of people have covered the main bugs but there’s one bug that really bothers me. When there’s a natural resource you are harvesting (water, bushes, trees), after a few minutes the resource will stop producing. This happens even with lots of regen and only one worker. The bar that shows the resource being harvested that fills with light grey each harvest will stay all the way light grey and when that happens the resource will not give out any more. I have to take all the workers off the resource and put them back on for it to resume. But it’s tiring to have to keep cycling through planets and doing this with all the resources on each planet and it should be fixed. This only happens with the natural structures, not any resources that use machines or buildings to harvest

Ok, I absolutely love this game. The gameplay is engaging but not too complicated, the concept is new and executed excellently, the GUI is smooth, and the game mechanics are simple yet in-depth. My only complaint is that endless mode has to be bought with real money. Yes, I understand that an indie developer’s gotta make some money, but I think it’d be good to give us an alternative to buy new modes and species. Like, “unlock endless by completing 10 normal games” or “unlock the elephants by building 3 nuclear reactors in one game.” You know, shake it up a little. I still love the game, tho!
