A unique experience – TRAUMA Review

Trauma is a very surreal point-and-click (or maybe point-and-drag) game. The story follows a hospital patient who is recounting four of her dreams, with each dream representing a level. None of the levels are particularly long, but there is replay in the form of alternate solutions and Polaroids to find. Each level introduces a new technique, each of which can also be used on the other levels for the alternate solutions. One suggestion I would make for an improvement is to allow the found Polaroids to be viewed at regular size on the "View the discoveries" screen for each level. Since some of the images provide hints for the solution to goals in the other levels, it would be nice to be able to look at them again without having to replay the level. Overall, the style of the game is intriguing and refreshing, and I highly recommend it. It's even more impressive considering that it was apparently created by a two-person development team.
