Taking ownership for bookings – Travelocity Hotels & Flights Review

I recently made a reservation with Travelocity for a one night stay. When I received confirmation I called the hotel to make special needs requests to to medical issues. I have called the hotel everyday for three weeks with no one answering the phone. I reported this to a Travelocity agent and he couldn’t get through to the hotel as well. Due to the circumstances of not being able to contact the hotel I asked if the reservation could be canceled and my credit card not be charged. The agent said he could cancel my reservation but my credit card could still be charged. I contacted Wyndham property customer care and they let me know that Travelocity could cancel and not charge my card.
