Gem/Ticket System – WebComics - Webtoon, Manga Review

This used to be my favorite app for comics. I previously had bought the subscription, but couldn’t keep up with it to save some cash. The app used to have a simple coin system, and it was fairly easy to acquire coins (daily check-ins, watching ads) but I hate the new system with gems and tickets. I understand that content creators need to be paid and with the use of the new system they probably can track usage/popularity easier but at the cost of the users. I had roughly 27.000 coins saved up and exchanging them for one gem costs 2,000 coins. (Usually you need at least 4+ gems to unlock one chapter for some of the more popular comics) It’s ridiculous and overall a waste of all the time I put into acquiring them before.
