Ive been using this app for over a year now and i loved it, but when they added gems everything went downhill. At first only a few people required them to pay for mangas. Now almost every story needs them. When they were first introduced I was able to get gems from the wheel pretty frequently but then something changed and i haven’t been able to get gems from the wheel since roughly September of 2021. I really want to read my stories but I’m underaged with no job to pay. I really hope this can be fixed because I’ve gotten to the point of reading a lot less often and every time i try the wheel i don’t even expect anything to happen. Please fix this the app was so great but it’s starting to become terrible.

I used to read a bunch of comics on here but when I downloaded the app again after 2 years you literally have to pay to get every page. I can understand artists wanting to be paid for their work but everything in the app is so overpriced now!

I love the app and been using it for a few years now and I’m a plus subscriber but in all honesty the apps changed so much that benefits for being a plus subscriber is almost not worth it for the price anymore. Also when you guys just up the gem charge on chapters without notifying the readers it’s a big turn off because what used to take a small amount of coins or gems for a good handful of chapters, now for what we open the chapters with now is like a very small handful for over 50+ gems because the chapters prices increased a lot then what it used to be without getting any notification that it would be increased. It’s understandable if it was the authors wishes but at least notify the readers saying it’s going from 1 gem to 4. May not seem a big deal to some but honestly it’s not the same anymore and I still support my favorites but the switch from android to iOS meant I lost a great deal of chapters I had already previously bought so spending that much more to get them back especially favorite ones when the amount of gems we get for the prices won’t even cover half of the chapters… at least bring back the deals where for a day or two we get to buy some of those chapters back with coins or give plus subscribers back the chance to read chapters for free again since we went from that to paying the price for the chapters the same as if we weren’t plus only with the added benefit that we can read advanced chapters.

Great options to read from but…

There were multiple occasions where my phone would start to burn up because of this app. Batteries were drained quickly and it was hard to read them. It’s easier to do so on a website, but harder on the phone. Another thing are the spins. I don’t understand why there is even an “X” button there and that people can reject their rewards. There were times were I got 3 or 1 day(s) of free read but because the app was slow, I refreshed it and I lost those free days. I feel like the reason for this is because refreshing the page is automatically telling the app that I rejected the rewards, and that’s why it wasn’t saved. Please make it automatically saved next time and make the app run faster. Thank you!

Since the pandemic started the coins have turned to gems and then the gems amounts per chapter unlock are increasing. I do not have a subscription as I’ve been able to enjoy and retrieve gems through promotion while reading through coins. Coins have become essentially worthless for both new titles and ongoing. I think I’ve had enough. You need to fix your system. A better bang for your buck with subscriptions or something because right now it’s not sustainable.

I am a premium member(have been for about 2 years) as the coins use to be useful. Now, I have thousands of coins but have no good use for them as comics that did take coins switched to gems and even the 60 gems a month gets you at most 30 chapters (some comics are 4 gems a chapter!). The two comics each week are either ones that have been read already or newer comics that only have 40 or so chapters that you can read in less that an hour. I enjoyed that there were “free to read” comics on the homepage and that really filled in the void. Now you guys have “free to read” but it’s only a few chapters of the comics. So then, if you do want to read it you still have to spend tons and tons of coins. I get if there were some that were not fully free and had the few free chapters, but “free to read” should mean what it says and there is none that are actually free to read anymore unless you have premium like me and get the two free comics a week. You guys a huge step back.

The comics are good but everything needs gems and not a lot of works can be paid for using coins. When I do my daily check in, I’m supposed to be watching just one ad but they make me watch 2,3,4 ads in succession and I’m not allowed to skip any of them. Same for when I watch ads for spin the wheel. One ad per spin was what it’s supposed to be but now they give me 2,3,4 ads in succession that I can’t skip for one spin. Sometimes when I have to watch ads in succession, my number of spins is deducted. For example, if I had five turns and I watched the ads, sometimes I’d only have three turns left when the ads are done. DO NOT DOWNLOAD. YOU CAN READ THE COMICS ELSEWHERE WITHOUT WASTING YOUR TIME.

Sneaking Everything Behind A Paywall

After 2+ years, I’m done with this ap. I’m finding more and more comics suddenly behind a paywall, even ones that have been coin-pay for dozens of chapters and many months. Even if it’s the last three or four chapters before the comic ends. Since August 2021, the amount of ads has quadrupled into a minimum of 4 every ad-pause. So that’s up to 2 minutes. Every time. The so-called ‘free gems’ area has NOT once ever garnered me a gem. There’s more honest places to read comics.
