The best option for local music playback – Doppler MP3 & FLAC Player Review

Doppler is well-designed, easy to use, and stable. It’s far and away the best option and it keeps improving with each update. Features I like: + The interface shows album artwork and loads it quickly + Multiple options for music import including the file browser + Optionally shows your Apple Music library as well + Music queueing options + Library search + Changelogs are available in the app + Good options for sending feedback to the developer + Proper Apple CarPlay support Features I’d love to see: - Replay gain support for albums/songs - Gesture based playback controls on the now-playing screen - The option to hide the music import menu into the settings menu - Alphabetical/phoenetic organization for other languages such as Japanese. For example, albums or songs starting with “あ“ are currently categorized under “#” instead of “A” - Customizable UI accent and icon colors
