Worth every penny. Bridges the gap between Linux and iPhone music transfer with the WiFi transfer feature. Incredibly responsive developer to boot.

doppler 2 is a great upgrade to an already great music player. listening to music that isn't on streaming services as much as i do meant i needed a way to transfer them to my phone, but since i use linux i couldn't use itunes. doppler allows you to directly transfer music to the app, whether it's by the new wifi transfer method, the files app, or via itunes file sharing (or via the file explorer on ubuntu). it launches way faster than spotify, has a great queue system, you can edit song and album metadata in-app, and it scrobbles to last.fm! while probably more expensive than most people are used to for an app, it's absolutely worth the cost if you care about your music-listening experience

This is a great updated version of Doppler. The new option of adding songs over wifi is fantastic. You just drag and drop to your browser and they show up on your phone. The Liked Songs playlist is a handy addition. And like v1, this is totally independent from iTunes. I’m happy to pay for this app.

I’ve enjoyed the first version of this music app and I’m glad there is a second improved version, but it would have been nice to know about its release in order to take advantage of the discounted price during the first week of release.

When I couldn't figure out why my music wasn't populating to Doppler2 I sent an email to the developer and he soon wrote back with an explanation that completely solved my problem. Even better he followed up a week later to ask if I still was happy with the solution. Yes, very happy. And even more impressed by the proactive customer support! The app works perfectly, especially once I started using it correctly, thanks to the developer's good help ?

Wanted to like. Has a lot going for it. But for a large library too limited. Among other things, Can't list music by artist (only album artist) Can't list music by composer Can't list music by genre Will keep an eye on it.

I like Doppler a lot. I respect the developer for not including any trackers or analytics in the app. He did a great job designing the interface, provided a wealth of options to import music, support for FLAC is great. The app has matured a lot since its inception and is being improved at a very rapid pace. This IS the best offline Music player, bar none. One of the the very few "must have" apps that make the iPhone experience fantastic for me.

An absolutely fantastic local music player, and one of the very few of it’s kind in the App Store (especially without trackers and ads). I just got through adding a slimmed down version of my large music collection to my phone to use with this app, so please keep up the great work, not sure where I’d go without it. Works great, looks great, and has some great features that are hard to find on non-desktop music players. Basic editing of track and album info, really smooth album art finder, and Spotify-esc listening reports that are stored device only. At its current state it’s pretty much the best there is if this is the kind of app you’re looking for. Hope to see it continue to improve and get the attention it deserves from folks who would rather use locally stored music than streaming services.

If you're a music owner/downloader (not a streamer), this is the app for you ! I have been so frustrated with major interface shortcomings and continued feature neglect in the iOS Apple Music app...this app continues to just 'do it better'. And let's not forget to mention that it come with a companion CarPlay app, always a sign that a developer is 'in it to win it'. The developer has been prompt in fixing bugs, and collecting feature requests. Excellent app right here....
