Notification with google calendar doesn’t work – Google Tasks: Get Things Done Review

I would love to have the tasks and google calendar tied into one application. When I add tasks from the google calendar, I rarely get notified. I don’t know if they sync correctly or what else. It would be beneficial to completely integrate google tasks with google calendar and get rid of the separate google tasks application
