I used google tasks for every list I needed to make. To do lists. Packing lists. Check lists of all kind. Grocery lists. The best part about the app is it’s ease of use. When I completed a task I could open the app and just swipe away the item. Now it’s less convenient and I will be looking for a new alternative. In order to remove an item you have to click it and then go through the motions to delete it. Too much extra for a simple task app.

Complete deal breaker: no sharing. None. This makes it useless for teams, families, etc as you can’t share a list or assign tasks. I’m blown away this isn’t an out-of-the-box option for the service, it’s a basic option in comparable apps and services and honestly makes me wonder if this is going to get the “Google axe” relatively soon. Pros: clean interface, intuitive controls and seamless integration with Google services (obviously). It’s one of the most aesthetic and easy to use task apps available.

For many years I much preferred GoTasks to google tasks. But I was forced to start using google tasks when I got a new iPhone because something broke with google integration to goTasks. What I most missed was date displayed by past incomplete tasks. That is now available in 1.46 in Date Order mode. While it is for my tastes a huge improvement, it would be even better if tasks on the same past date were grouped together under the date rather than repeating the date over and over. But it’s good enough as is. 5 stars!

It never gets disappointed as it is very easy to communicate with my family on our task activities

It’s good App and I am primarily using it for you syncing with Google. In cell phone App there is no search function. The desktop version combined with Google calendar is not as good as previous standsalone desktop version.
