The Underdog / Hidden Gem of Pod Apps – Overcast Review

Marco has created the most customizable podcast manager for all listeners - casual to serious. Years ago Overcast was offering playback settings and smart playlist options that other apps have yet to offer, and it has only gotten better with every version. Being able to set preferences in extreme detail by podcast, by playlist, etc. makes sorting, prioritizing, and storage controls easy for an avid listener like me. “Smart” Playlists are a huge asset. At the same time, it has quick and easy controls and a friendly UI for those looking for a simple player with familiar controls. Can’t say enough about this great app.
