Dropbox support is waning – Editorial Review

This is a great editor, but they don’t seem to be keeping up with the Dropbox API. Nearly every time I edit a document on Dropbox, I end up with a fork (which Dropbox renames to “Conflicted Copy”). I’m only editing using the app, files I haven’t touched in months from any other client, so this just shouldn’t be happening. It’s probably something minor, too — a datestamp discrepancy measured in milliseconds, that kind of thing — that could be easily adapted to. Oh, and when you get the “Conflicted Copy” bug, your toolbar shortcuts won’t work anymore, even after renaming. Toolbar shortcuts appear to be tied to a filespec that’s separate from just the file path. (Beats me what it would be. Maybe the Dropbox API exposes a File ID of some sort.) Anywho, you have to delete and recreate your toolbar file shortcuts.
