Bugs uploading drivers license during purchase – Carvana: Buy/Sell Used Cars Review

I have tried unsuccessfully over two days to give these guys money. My drivers license upload hangs on my cellular network (Verizon) and on WiFi (5Ghz fiber connection). I have tried an outright photo taken within the app, and uploading a photo of my license I scanned with the Scannable app. I have restarted the app multiple times and restarted my phone. I’m on the latest iOS and latest version of the Carvana app. I’m no Elon Musk, but I think if I had an app where users were trying to give me $40,000, I would make very certain that process worked without friction.
