Amazing, Thanks – AudioLayer Review

AudioLayer has revolutionized the way that I make music on iPad. While more complex instruments do require a time investment on part of the user, all of the important and necessary tools are included for creating (or recreating) amazing, character-rich instruments, such as those found in the free and open pianobook library, curated by one of the founders of Spitfire. Release triggers, velocity layers, round-robin, random triggering, crossfades, and much more are available on a per-layer basis. The app is as stable, and less CPU hungry, than the majority of my AU synths. I typically run 4 or 5 instances of AL in AUM on a non-pro iPad loaded with EQ instances without issues. Sincere thanks to the creator(s) of this app, which has made me a fan and follower of VirSyn.
