Improvements needed – Ally: Bank, Auto & Invest Review

I used to really like Ally Bank. Opening an account is far more difficult than it should be, but once it's open, things used to be ok. Ally has recently added a chat feature. I have had some successes and some abject failures using the chat service. One of the problems is that it asks you to rate the service before you read the response. This needs to be fixed. Ally doesn’t always follow its funds availability policy. It takes a long time for checks to clear, even when they follow the policy. It’s awful when they delay funds. I can’t add a “transfer from” account on the app or on the mobile site. This has been a problem for years. Since Ally is an ONLINE bank, this is absolutely absurd. As an online bank, Ally needs to be a leader in banking technology.
