Finally fed up with this App…! AWFUL…! – iA Writer Review

Warning: Do not buy this app…!!! (Review: ZERO stars…) I just spent close to two hours editing two very important reports for work. And when I got home from the office where I was working to continue on at home, I discovered that ALL of my changes were lost… LOST! THE SYNCH FUNCTION IS COMPLETELY UNRELIABLE. I have been using this App for years. I still own the original ia writer - which is still a great app. It still adheres to the company's original promise: clean, simple, easy to use… But no longer supported. This new version is chocked full of features THAT I NEVER USE. And it has ALWAYS been buggy. And sure, while a lot of the (mostly useless) functions they keep adding work… if the SYNCH function fails why use it if you lose all of your data…? Would you fly in an airplane with a significant history of aircrashes. What I have been doing for the past several years is using the old, original 'ia writer' and copy/paste/send to the new version if I want to work on my desktop. BAD App!
