Want to like it BUT... – Catan HD Review

I really want to like this app. I love the board game and even old clunky online or gaming versions of it, but this app leaves a lot to be desired. It often freezes. Lately I have not received cards or even initial settlement road during hiccups. At first I thought players were cheating maybe, but now I guess there are just too many game variables for an app to keep up with. Will I keep playing this version because it is super convenient on an iPad during times of insomnia? Yes. Will I throw my iPad across the room if this keeps up? Maybe
