You Lost A Frequent Customer – DoorDash - Food Delivery Review

This app started as a great convenience for my demanding work schedule. The fees+delivery+tip add up, but I used it 4-10 times per week because it made life easier. I will no longer use this service though, and I advise you not to either, after the last TWO experiences I had. Both times, ordered dinner after a long day of work, way past hangry, food never shows up. A driver was never even assigned. First incident, got a full refund. Second time, only refunded $9 from a $50 order that never showed up. I sent my husband to the restaurant to pick up our own food. The restaurant employees all recommend to avoid this service due to so many issues. Customer service was terrible. To even speak with someone to address your time sensitive situation you have to wait for 80-130 people ahead of you. It’s all handled through a robotic chat system which doesn’t even understand the issue you explain nor delivers a solution to your problem. It’s 2018, you guys need to get it together. You had ONE job !
