Nearly Useless – VW Car-Net Security & Service Review

There is a lot of potential with this app but a lot of issues currently too. First of all, UPDATE IT TO ALLOW REMOTE START! The range on the factory key fob remote start is a joke. It needs to be accessible via the app. The app logs you totally out from time to time which is a pain. Remote lock and unlock and sending directions to your car is a nice feature. Flashing lights and honking horn is pointless if you’re doing it in an emergency because it takes a couple minutes for the signal to get there. But it needs remote start access! LOL. As I write this, the app is totally down.
