I would have given five stars, but... – Jewel Quest: Best Match 3 Games Review

I have several Jewel Quest games on my computer and thought I would be purchasing something very similar for my iPad. Unfortunately, not absolutely true. Four lives then wait a long while to play again. That in itself is not TOO bad because I can move on to a different game, read a book, whatever. But if you want to be able to get the relics to help, you must have THOUSANDS of coins. If you use any of the level helps, you won’t have thousands of coins. I used the level help twice to keep the monkeys in the cages and strangely enough I didn’t have as many monkeys spread out all over. No help “bought,” lots and lots of monkeys, making three across and pulling my caged monkeys out. The levels that are timed are sometimes barely enough time, working really fast. Levels with restricted moves barely have enough. I want a challenge but if it is so challenging you must play a level for a week, it is not fun. Oh, wait, you can have a little more time or moves if you buy it with real money, not game chains. Let’s see... .99 for a few more minutes or moves, even if only half of the levels, not at my house! Or I can buy coins for a bunch of money. I have yet to figure out the star system, and what you must have to get three stars. I bought this game and will keep playing it but I am somewhat disappointed. BTW, I agree that it would be nice to have an option to move on if you just cannot get a level.
