I really liked this game...”liked” being in the past. Why does the game keep returning to the beginning??? Sometimes several times a day!!! What’s the point of trying to get to higher levels if it keeps sending you back. Not fun anymore! Don’t know why I keep hoping for it not to keep doing this.....kind of like rewatching “Titanic” and hoping for a better ending, Not even sure why I gave it 1 star ???

I am a diehard, purchased most jewel quest games when they were on lowly disks, outdated now, 64 bits etc etc. so to have to deal with all the hassle to play and the “ improvements “ in player experience, forgive me if I have become cynical and less than enthusiastic. But, alas, I do love this game, arrgh.

I have downloaded this game a lot and it still gets stuck on level 4. When showing you how to use the three coin option to use in a space, it doesn't respond. It won't let you do anything but exit out and lose a life.

Don’t download this. I paid for every original jewel quest game on pc. I was seriously addicted and was so happy to find it in the Apple store. I’d happily pay for this one if they had a paid version but I won’t pay for more lives when I have to use a life just to replay a level to try to get a perfect score. That’s just greedy and I see where this is going.

Can’t get beyond level 18- set up so you consistently lose. On top of that, if you are foolish enough (like me) to actually try and buy another chance with five moves, as you are making the purchase, you hear the sound of the game ending. So much for five extra moves and your money...and don’t even try to log on with Facebook- hasn’t worked for years.
Addicting but frustrating

Some levels are just too difficult and takes weeks to get past without using helps or extra lives. The only way to get extra lives (or time on a timed level) is to fill out 15 min worth of offers and give your email to spammers. I did it ONCE knowing what I was doing but really wanted the extra time on an almost beat level, and when I finally got back to the game it had booted me out anyway. I still keep playing bc I enjoy it but I don’t enjoy being stuck on each level for days at a time- and I’m not just a bad player, other games I move thru pretty quickly.
Fun but maddening

I really enjoy playing. But my progress has been randomly wiped out and I’ve had to start at the first board twice now. And an update a while back really screwed up the resolution. It’s like the board is 110% the size of the phone screen.

I love this game. I owned the PC version a few computers ago when that was a thing. I was so excited to find the version that I like with the monkey cages. I agree with other reviewers that there are some glitches. I am unable to connect to FB to connect with other players. There are also spam ads for a free game. Do not fall for it. It costs too much of your time and potential virus or hacking of your information. I do enjoy the game. I purchased coins without an issue because there are a few levels that are near impossible without a booster. You can go to beginner levels and play until you build up your coins but it takes a lot of time and can get boring. All issues aside, I still love this game. I wish I could figure out how to get it on different devices but it appears to only be available on my iPad. I would rate it 5 stars if I could actually connect with other players. I am also worried that it could be a scam copycat app because of the issues with the “free” options. I have been playing this for the past few months and so far I do not think my identity was stolen. The graphics are good and the game moves fast once you load the game. This is a great choice if you like puzzle gem games with different challenges.
