More worthless software from Nikon – SnapBridge Review

Got a new d850 and want to use the advertised connectivity. Like so many other software offerings from Nikon this one is unreliable, confusing, and lacks important features (unable to transfer RAW or TIFF files). I was able to connect and download images about one try in twenty, if at all. You go all the way to various stages in the convoluted process and it fails. I’m not sure why you have to make a Bluetooth and WiFi connection simultaneously to download selected files, but that just creates more opportunities for dropped connections. If you want a d500 or d850 with connectivity, forget it, buy something else.
