Not well supported – SMCU Mobile from San Mateo Credit Union Review

Just got a new iPhone and kept getting an error that wouldn’t let me log in. After calling for support I was told I had to delete and redownload the app for it to work. Is telling every single user who buys an iPhone 8 or X to delete and redownload the app really an acceptable fix? Is it that hard to update the app to fix the problem? Like how long have these phones been out and there’s still no fix? Not to mention that they could have at least sent out an email or something, just to let users know what the fix is, so I wouldn’t have to call and sit on hold just to be told to delete the app. It’s stupid.
