Check deposit functionality is flawed – SMCU Mobile from San Mateo Credit Union Review

Hey guys, cmon, the last update is currently 9 months old, time for an update. The check deposit process is bad. I try my best to frame up the check and it always comes out wrong, with too much space on the left or the right - it's as if it's doing some cropping on its own in the background. I try to send the best image so it accepts the deposit but 30% of the time it reports errors. The images look crystal clear to me, I'm shooting against a black background and the check is very well lit, completely legible, and yet... fail. Fix this please, it's extremely annoying.
