Unoriginal Social-Media Experience. – Instagram Review

The direction Instagram has decided to move focuses all resources on generating add revenue. A distant cry from the days of being inspired by a community of artists and photographers. Slowly, my feed has evolved into reposts and mindless memes (with an occasionally-relevant advertisement). The more people I unfollow the more the app tries to force unoriginal content into my feed. Even if chronological order is restored and “The Algorithm” stopped, it would do very little to reverse the circus that this app has become. IMO it is too little too late. The magic that Instagram once had has been cheapened by corporate greed and is now nothing more than a glorified email client.
