Alerts and Face ID (edit Face ID kinda works) – Barclays US Credit Cards Review

Alerts come days late, and for a bank that provides the Apple Store card, I’d have expected Face ID by now.. instead - on my iPhone X I need to manually log in every time. Better off using the website. Developers: Use the biometric authentication API Apple provided you with. The API doesn’t differentiate between Touch ID and Face ID - you just chose to bypass their API and force Touch ID only. Edit: 3/14 this new version now uses Face ID, except it’s not called Face ID it’s called Touch ID in the settings... how to use it: enable Touch ID then enter password, then it’ll tell you you can use Face ID. A little edit to the text in the UI may help... Up a star for that, but still terrible with the notifications.
