Content great, app mediocre – Upper Room Daily Devotional Review

The new app seems like a facelift with less functionality. The old one could be accessed offline like on a plane or another country without data; new one needs internet connection. Lately, the app does not update so I have to force my iPad to close it and reopen each time. The new app essentially requires a subscription. The devotionals are still good and the link to the daily bible verse has been maintained and is a plus.
