Poor customer support – DoorDash - Food Delivery Review

I got home late from work, after having to go last minute for an emergency instead of heading to the grocery store earlier as I planned. Feeling like a zombie, I knew I was in no shape to head to the store or restaurant so I was delighted to see door dash was still available that late at night. I ordered our food right before 11 and given an estimate that it would arrive shortly after midnight. At 12:30 I inquired where the food was and was THEN informed there were no more dashers scheduled for the evening. You see, had I been told that when I first ordered, I would have sought other options at that point. If there are NO DASHERS, WHY CANT THE APP INFORM CUSTOMERS??? Then the “customer support” offered a $10 credit for my account. Not even half of what my order was worth, nor the loss of sleep waiting up for food that never arrived. I’m grumpy, hungry, and tired. Thanks a million
