Dishonest and rude customer service – Frontier Airlines Review

02/08/2018 09:16 AM Wife and I arrived at 10:18 am at counter for our 11:05 am flight, along with another customer. We were told that the supervisor had called instructing to “close the flight early." We had already pre-checked in, but didn’t have our boarding passes or bag checked. She refused service to us and just kept repeating “you were late." Refused to let us speak with the supervisor, told us the supervisor would return after the flight left, that the next day flight to our destination was full, said we could book a flight to another destination for $99 each, and then laughed about the whole situation with another airport employee, giving him a high-five. Meanwhile we stood there for over an hour and a half on hold with customer service then finally connected with an employee with such a heavy foreign accent that communication about the situation was difficult. Finally the supervisor’s supervisor changed our flights, waved the extra fee, and apologized, but we still lost a day of vacation and had to pay for a hotel room. This was our first and last experience with Frontier.
