Needs export with overlays – Porsche Track Precision Review

It worked great the first time out at TWS. I was able to add the track via the map function without any issues. Once around the track and it created a track icon. It took a great video with a really awesome overlays that showed throttle position break speed everything you name it! The only problem was there was no method to export the video with overlays. If they added that one function I would give it five stars. Ok I've used it some more and I have to down grade my previous review to 1 star. At COTA, I couldn't reliably keep it connected. Sometimes it would connect and start recording, then just randomly stop. I might get one lap, I might get none. Then this past weekend (1/23-24) at TWS, I had some great laps, later I went back to review what I did and the laps are gone. All my Saturday sessions deleted, all my Sunday sessions delete. OK PORSCHE PLEASE REFUND OUR MONEY FOR THIS PIECE OF CRAP!!! Just got the newest version, 2.0 1/9/2017 update. Well after finally getting the app stable on the previous release, they went and did it again; unable to record any laps. At the beginning of a session the app starts then after one lap it dies and no data is recorded. Do this guys even test the software in real world conditions??? Maybe take it out on a track in actual car... maybe even test with a 2014/2015 GT3! I want my money back! Got my 991.2 GT3 and had my first track event with the car and app. Both worked great? I later tried their export and holy cow the export video includes the overlays!!! Awesome. Plus the app worked flawlessly. I would give them 5 stars if they would allow me to upload my local Texas tracks. Whenever I’ve had an issue in the past with the app I would have to remove then reload from the cloud, this caused the app to lose my local tracks. The work around is to export the track and email it to yourself... just keep the email around.
