Unable to record on 8 plus – RØDE Rec Review

Unable to record work my iPhone 8 Plus using IOS 11.2.5 I was able to use it with my older iPhone 6 Plus on an earlier version of IOS. Clearly Rode is not keeping up with updates. This is their latest version, yet it is 3 months old.
