Please Instagram – Instagram Review

When I first got Instagram, it was so addicting. And then they added the new look, which was amazing, and even allowed for larger photos. I was in love. But, then things just went down hill. 1) I loved the feed being in chronological order. It made everything nice and simple, the newest posts showed up first. The more one posted, the more one showed up on the feed. But now it’s no longer that way. My feed is messy and I see posts that are two days old. In social media terms, that’s a long time. PLEASE change this back. OR AT LEAST LET PEOPLE CHOOSE IN THE SETTINGS. 2) Ads. Instagram, I get it, you have to make money. Sponsored posts is how. They’re honestly not annoying at all, I can just scroll past. Actually some of the stuff I find myself interested in buying. But... I keep getting ads for women’s clothing. I’m a dude. Even though I block them, different ones show up. 3) Let Snapchat be Snapchat. We ALL know Instagram stories & face filters are an obvious copy of Snapchat. Instagram, you were amazing at photos. Just let Snapchat have this. 4) Since I first got Instagram, I’ve always wanted to be able to see people’s Instagram profile pictures in full. Not just that tiny circle. Especially when someone has a private account. Please make this an option. I know it may interfere with the stories, but you already know how I feel about that. 5) Story Highlights. When I got the update for Story highlights, I was immediately annoyed with them. They fill too much of the screen and make profiles look messy. Even with the drop down option! I loved the old way with the profile pic, name, bio, and then their feed.
