Easy and efficient – Trainline: Buy train tickets Review

I used Trainline to book advance purchase first class tickets on Virgin from Kings Cross to Newcastle, and Carlisle to Euston. The mobile tickets were readily available or activated the day prior to travel. One can save 30-60% by booking in advance and during off-peak. Trainline showed the price options and made the rail planning relatively painless. The only challenge would be if you must make last minute changes. That may require a phone call to Trainline. I will be recommending this app to my friends who plan to use train travel in the UK.
