Needs an update – Skritter Japanese Review

I LOVE this app. I've been using it since it launched and it has been pivotal to my Japanese language study. I prefer it over Anki and Memrise. However, it has been over a year since the app received an update. There are minor bugs, the app runs slow on my phone, and pronunciations that don't match readings. An update has been promised for months.....but so far nothing. I don't plan to continue my subscription until one is made. If it matters: the app interface is also not attractive; the desktop version is more pleasing.
