Just the worst possible experience – Cell Phone Coverage Map Review

If I could give this negative stars I would. Update: I am adding one more complaint Why are continuous testing limited to 21 tests? When I am driving around (especially on my motorcycle) I used to just set tests to run and let it go. Now I can't, just 21 tests then you have to restart it. Terrible idea, makes it useless for testing while I am driving in areas that otherwise have no tests... ---- "Improved user interface" is very subjective. The new user interface is pretty but has seriously fatal flaws: 1. Everything is small now, all the controls are tiny. Makes it impossible to use in a car or on a bike or whatever. 2. The new color scheme is very pastel, light colors. Hard to see in sunlight. We'll have to see if they fixed the bug that tests run never get uploaded - they have been broken for that for several versions. It does not require Verizon - it works on any carrier. They just made switching your carrier way more confusing and obtuse. Seriously, this new UI is a step backward for usability. Its pretty though. Root Metrics just keeps making this one worse. At least Open Signal, and Speedtest and other network testing apps are still OK, I just use them instead. Also - a five star review that reads "root metrics is awesome" can't be trusted.
