The newest version of the app for iOS has expanded the functionality and ease of use found in previous versions to give you a personal network testing and comparison tool that’s better than ever. And whether you’re already familiar with our CoverageMap app or simply curious about testing mobile network performance in your neighborhood, you’ll quickly see how easy it is to get started.

New features:
• Improved user interface. Our updated app not only boasts a beautiful new user interface, but it also makes it easy to find and select the options and settings you want to use before running a test. Plus, easily identify areas that have yet to be tested, and be the first to put yourself on the map.
• A world of results on an expanded dashboard. Your test results can tell you a great deal about your daily mobile life. Get a broader understanding of your findings with new stats such as moving averages, histories, and more.
• Personalize your results. Wondering how performance with your carrier of choice compares between the office and at home? Now you can find out. Easily select multiple hexes on the map to compare your results, and find out if others are having the same experience.
• Test how you want, when you want. Set your device to automatically run performance tests continuously, or sample network conditions in the background. Stop a test at any time with either setting. When you turn background collection on, you anonymously contribute information about your device’s data performance without using your data plan.
• We want to hear from you. While we love to see more and more data points appear on the map, you can also tell us about your experience in your own words. Whether it’s something you feel requires our attention, or you just want to say you’ve had a great experience testing performance, we want to hear from you.

Amazing speed test app to re code.
Monay_man

I’ve always loved this app and still to this day they have not added any features I requested. But it is improving and one of the best. But what I do with the app is make a continuous download test last for 5, 15 ,20 ,or 45 minutes or longer test with just one test. I usually go threw 800 gigs in less then 3 hours to prove reliability over long download tests. Kind of like the windows or Mac tests for home WiFi on your computer but I re arranged the app to allow me to do so on my phone with VERIZON. I get zero throttling on my LTE due to some changes I made and it makes the app mark out the best spots for reliability in download and upload tests over a mass majority of a downloaded file. Most carriers drop speeds after trying to download a 100mb- 1gb file and drops your speeds down to 1-6 mbps. Now I have tested it without any modifications done to my carrier and I still had the same results. I’ve tested with all major USA CARRIERS AND CANADA INCLUDING BELL TELLUS AND ROGERS WIRELESS. Only carriers who dropped speeds without modifications was sprint on the first 3 minutes they throttled me. Until I modified the carrier settings on my iPhone as flashed over my new files. TMOBILE was decent and held up to about 500gb till it dropped. VERIZON pulled out till 3 TB OF DATA USAGE. Att shot me down at 4gigs until I modified the carrier files. Any information needed DM on Twitter monay_man also I claim no copyrights to this app I just made it more useful for accurate results. This is all done for educational purposes and I can not be “sued”

Getting there
moretesting

One of my favorite apps! I love being able to see results visually on a map. This update finally brought back continuous testing. Suggestions for future releases: 1. Button to instantly begin testing from the map screen without having to press the test button then begin testing. 2. Lighter theme on testing screen. In bright sunlight wearing sun glasses it can be difficult to read the screen. A lighter background would help. 3. Simultaneously test upload and download to more closely match real world usage. 4. When performing continuous testing have an option to limit the number of tests per hexagon. This would be helpful especially when traveling not to burn too much data when stopped. For instance when on a road trip at a gas station it would only run 3 cycles then pause till resume driving. 5. Show signal strength DB.

Almost The Best App
Eruiz6935

Well is almost all the way good and amazing but I’m just giving it 4 stars because it froze a couple of times that’s all I have to say overall it’s almost the best app

Crashing always
Artis Oracle

Constantly crashes in the background. Found hundreds of crash logs. Please address.

Not any updates
crazy894509

This app seems like they have forgotten about updates and when collecting all those data reports on signal and speeds they don’t update anything. I was hoping to have a app that truly shows updates as we go and have the devolper take initiative in his app
