Not sure what is going on – Slate.com Review

It started to do an update last week and I guess it froze up during the process. Now it's dark and says "waiting..." underneath the app. I tried app support but it just takes me to their terrible mobile site where I can't find support. It won't even let me delete the app. I thought the new iOS 10 would do something with it. But its just stuck there.
