Outdated Maps – Companion: Personal Safety Review

I admit I have put it to use yet but am already not 100% convinced in the ability of the app to do it's prescribed task as the maps are out of date. I bought this app as a safety measure when I go on long runs and I can see already some of the roads I typically use are not even showing up. Disappointed.
