Love the game, hate the hangups – Aki Mahjong for iPad Review

I've played Aki Mahjong for years and was happy to finally see a version for iPad. However, every time I open the game it either freezes immediately or freezes when moving from one level to another. Restarting the game or the iPad doesn't always solve the problem. I'm using iOS 9 on an iPad Mini.
