Slow and a battery drain – Brooklyn 1776 Review

Played it a few times but will get rid of it soon. I like the invent of the specific historic scenario but problems of the game done make it worth it. First of all it is a huge battery hog. This is a bad enough to quit alone. I found the opening phase of gameplay always requires resetting the location of troops. It takes forever. There should be a way to speed up play. The only way I have found to win is an all out retreat which still looses some men. There must be a better way yet the odds are certainly against you. The fact that the game says the task is to defend the area but congratulates you for a retreat that saves lives is contradictory. Also if you close the game you have to start a new game next time. Since it takes so long to play it would be nice to be able to remember where you left off.
