Won't even open – Dental Select Mobile ID Review

Just received policy renewal cards in the mail on 11/1/14, with a big emphasis on the stock paper that you detach the cards from, about a mobile app that shows your ID card. I thought, how convenient because I only got 1 set of dental/vision cards, so my wife can take the cards and I'll download the app. Installed the app, tried to open it, it hangs on a blank white screen for 1-2 seconds, and then just crashes and closes back to my iPhone home screen. Tried it multiple times to no avail. Pretty useless and what a waste of ink promoting an app on all their renewal card notices that doesn't even work. Disappointing.
