3 year old can't get enough! – Lizard Island: Observation Review

Catching lizards and tagging them? How long can this possibly hold her interest? That was a month ago and the answer seems to be, "Indefinitely!" My daughter is almost 4 and cannot get enough of this game. I took off a star because the process of "capturing" the lizards requires you to tap them first. Must have missed that instruction, because it was a little hard at first. But once we figured it out, this game became her favorite. She's practicing fine motor skills (rotating the ruler to measure the critters), categorization (a hermit crab is NOT a lizard), mapping (only one creature per "region" on the island) and so much more. The game is quite simply super-- and deceptively simple! Highly recommend for younger kids even though the target age is higher.
